Saturday 14th March & Sunday 15th March 2020
Teachers: Carol Perry and Angela McGee
at CERES Environmental Park, East Brunswick
One of the most difficult aspects of practice in daily life is skillful speech and action when reactive emotions arise. Through mindfulness of body we will investigate and bring insight to patterns and habits that get in the way of skilful communication and action.

The unique retreat format encourages exploration of the ways that ancient wisdom practices nourish an ecological and social consciousness.
The retreat will focus on restorative practices that prepare you to face challenges with compassion, wisdom and inspiration and find creative, non-dualistic strategies for wise action in the world. Through the cultivation of mindfulness, gratitude and deep listening we can awaken our hearts to the intimacy of interconnectedness and nurture the capacity to honour our joy and pain for our world. By embracing not knowing and building resilience we can see with new eyes and go forth with wise and compassionate action.
The schedule includes; sitting & walking meditation periods, daily meditation instructions, interactive experiential group exercises, open inquiry sessions and Dharma talks. There will also be one-on-one interviews with teachers, and time for discussion and sharing experiences.
