Bay Insight Meditation: A weekly Wednesday Evening group

Bay Insight Meditation resumes on Wednesday March 24th from 7.00-8.30 pm at Bamboo Yoga Studio, 74-78 Bangalow Road, Byron Bay.

There will be brief meditation instructions, a silent sitting, short talk and inquiry on a dharma theme. All are welcome.


Park in the Health Lodge car park, walk behind the buildings and you will find the Bamboo Yoga Studio. Please bring your own cushions or folding sitting chair. There will be a Covid Safe sign-in prior to entry. The evening is supported by your donations.

 

Cultivating Insight, Compassion and Wisdom

May 22-23 9.00am to 4.00pm each day
A two-day non-residential workshop at Sangsurya Meditation Centre, Byron Bay

This weekend workshop will use an interactive teaching style with periods of silence, including both walking and sitting meditation instruction, mixed with dynamic group work and opportunities for individual reflection.


Morning tea and lunch will be provided but please bring your own cushion.
Presented by Radha Nicholson and Karuna Fielden


Radha Nicholson teaches the cultivation of wisdom and compassion through Insight. Her teachings focus on Inquiry and the non-dual nature of reality.

She is a guiding teacher for Bay Insight in Byron Bay and teaches retreats internationally in India, Australia, Germany and Israel. She has also been a guest teacher in France, Palestine, the UK, USA and New Zealand.

Radha is a registered counselling psychologist but has retired from clinical practice. Radha is the mother of four children and also has grandchildren.

Karuna Fielden is an experienced group facilitator and leader, with wide experience in the community sector as a manager of multidisciplinary teams. Karuna has over 30 years of experience advocating for and providing services for women, families, young people and children and has also facilitated men’s anti-violence programs.

She has been a Dharma practitioner for 46 years in both the Mahayana and Insight traditions and has a focus on compassion in her practice.

Sangsurya Retreat Centre is a Covid Safe Organisation but please do not attend if you are unwell or have been in contact with other others in a designated Covid hotspot.

Stillness, Insight and Liberation

A silent insight meditation retreat focussing on learning to access and deepen freedom of the heart and mind. The retreat will include daily instructions, dharma talks and inquiry. Suitable for beginners and those who wish to deepen an already established meditation practice.

A 6 day silent Insight/Vipassana Meditation Retreat
Friday September 10th - Thursday September 16th
Teachers: Ellen Davison and Radha Nicholson
Venue: Sangsurya, Byron Bay

This retreat consists of sitting and walking meditation, open inquiry sessions, group and
individual meetings with the teachers, an optional morning yoga period, Dharma talks, and
guided meditations.
